Even after years of regular practice, we can stay stuck like we’re on a merry-go-round. Here are some signs that it might be time to release blocked emotions:
✓ While you’re in your practice, you feel connected and present, but when you return to everyday life, that connection disappears
✓ You can consistently teach others to arrive at a state of peace, but have a hard time abiding there yourself
✓ You are secretly ashamed of certain “unevolved” feelings and behaviors you can’t get rid of
✓ You settle for feeling freedom and peace occasionally when your practice allows it, but most of the time you experience tension
✓ Your hope lies in the possibility that through more of the same, one day you’ll achieve what you seek
✓ You can explain very eloquently why you are suffering, but that intellectual understanding doesn’t make. it go away
